Sweet Boy designs

I had a request for a baby gift to match a nursery color scheme of blue, brown, and orange. I did about 10 items using these three fabrics below:

Did I mention I love doing that??? Below is a little lion that I also did for this little boy using the stripe blue fabric. It took longer to do than I thought, but it is worth it!

A few new ideas

I have been busy monogramming lately, but no new designs, so I was excited to have a few new things to show.

First, a friend asked me to do a train shirt for her little boy, then asked for a tutu suit for her little girl. I thought this turned out SO cute!

I have a few baby gifts to get done, so I had a set of three bibs where I am doing the matching fabric with different applique things. This was a design I had not done before. Cherries should be essential in any little girls' wardrobe....

spring ribbon flower!

With the Super Bowl on TV, the girls tired from a long day of outside play, and a husband enthralled in a computer game, I was able to get several shirts done tonight! I had a few Valentine and St. Patrick's designs to do, and a few housewarming towels to work on. Plus, I had this design I had been itching to try. It is a ribbon flower:

Also, Lee's mom wanted a towel similar to one she saw in Fairhope shopping last week, so here is my take on a southern kitchen towel!

This Saturday two of my sewing buddies and I went to a HUGE sale at a kids fabric and sewing store. I bought several fabrics, a daygown kit, and a new pattern. I am hoping to get a few shorts made and two sundresses made for the girls. If not, I will have an abundance of applique material!

Go Packers! (or Steelers..... whatever...)

Butterfly Bonanza

I had a request for a baby shower bundle of butterflies! I picked up some cute fabric, and did a bundle of a blanket, burp cloths, onesies, and bibs. Here are a few!

Mardi Gras and Burp Cloths!

Sophie has this adorable smocked mask outfit for upcoming Mardi Gras, so I had to find something that Harper could coordinate. This mask is cute, especially if I get brave and make pants!

These burp cloths are for a friend's little boy....

Elephant Cubed

Here is a baby shower gift for a little boy due in February. I had all this coordinating fabric, so I put together a montage of elephants on a onesie, burp cloth, and bib... I thought they turned out pretty cute!
